Equipment Specific Operator Training
The objective of this training program is to provide trainees with comprehensive and practical instructions on the safe and efficient operation of each type of mobile equipment. The training consists of an eight-hour theoretical session followed by 32 hours of practical training. The equipment manual will be utilized to impart general and specific knowledge on the equipment, which will be reinforced through practical application on the job.

Pre-Use Inspections:
• Correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Vicinity inspection

Traveling/Driving/Maneuvering:
• Correct travel mode selection
• Traveling through different types of areas
• Traveling on hills
• Anticipating oncoming traffic
• Assessing area conditions

Loading:
• Observing the loading area
• Communication protocols
• Anticipating risks
• Equipment positioning
• Loading the transport unit

Clean Up:
• Observing the working area

Refueling:
• Engine shutdown procedures

Parking:
• Leveling the equipment

Remarks
• Average education level: Elementary School to Vocational School and Basic Operator Training and completion of the Basic Operator Training and/ or a pre – assessment
